1. Getting Acquainted

The first step is to make sure it is a perfect fit for you to become a JRP bride! Fill out the contact form (or shoot me an email if you prefer). I will respond to your inquiry within two business days. We'll get to know each other through a complimentary consultation. I want to hear everything - how you met and fell, and how you got engaged, and all about the beautiful wedding you are planning! This consultation helps us get to know one another as we talk about your photography needs and vision for your special day. I like to make sure we are a match in terms of style and vision so we can create the most beautiful images possible! I look forward to meeting you!

2. Make it Official

Dates fill up fast so the next step is to get your date secure and booked. Based on your specific needs, I will put together a proposal and send over a contract. Signing this contract and paying a deposit officially reserves your package and date. It's official, you're a JRP bride!

3. Engagement Session

Once you are booked we can schedule your engagement session. There may be some nerves about being in front of the lens but don’t worry I will guide you everything! My goal is to create confidence in front of the lens! After the first 20 minutes you will feel comfortable, confident and even be having fun! After your engagement session you will receive your very own online gallery where you can download your photos and print, post and share. You'll have some beautiful pictures to use for your save the dates and guest book!

4. Wedding Timeline Planning

Your wedding day will be here before you know it! It is time to make sure that we are completely prepared for your big day! We will collaborate to create a custom timeline just for you because every couple and wedding day is unique. I am experienced in making a timeline that is photo-friendly and will help you through the process. Leading up to the wedding, I will also send a few additional questionnaires for family formal groupings and other details. I strive to provide and experience and deliver photos that go above and beyond your hopes and dreams!

5. Your Big Day

Your wedding day is finally here! Enjoy yourself and stay in the moment! The wedding day is my favorite part of the process because it gives a glimpse into your world as we meet your friends family. I also love getting to spend more time getting to know you both during our portrait sessions. Our planning together ahead of the wedding day will help ensure everything flows smoothly and you receive the wedding photography experience you have dreamed of! Laughter, happy tears, dancing; I aim to get photos of all the important parts of your day because we want you to be able to share and enjoy them for a lifetime!

Within 48 hours after your wedding day, you will receive some sneak peaks of highlights from throughout the day. In 4 weeks or less, you will receive all your wedding images in an online gallery. You will get hundreds and hundreds of gorgeous images that truly tells your wedding day story! I suggest having a viewing date with your spouse and snuggling up with a favorite snack and drink to enjoy scrolling the gallery together!

FAQ

How many final images will we receive?

This varies from wedding to wedding and session to session. On average, I deliver 50-75 images per hour of coverage. My philosophy is quality over quantity. I will deliver as many photos as possible for you, only removing those that have closed eyes, are repetitive, or for some other reason to not meet my standard of deliverable work.

How long does it take to get our photos delivered?

In 48 hours following your session or event, I’ll post a sneak peek of a few of my favorite photos from our time together on my Instagram account –– so keep an eye out for that! I'm so excited for you to see how beautiful you look through my eyes.

For sessions and events up to four hours: Within two weeks after your session, I’ll send you a link to your online gallery with all of your final, retouched, high-resolution images. You can share the link with your family and friends, post to social media and more!

For weddings and events longer than 4 hours: Within four weeks after your event, I will send a link to your online gallery with all of your final, retouched, high-resolution images. I know it is hard to wait, so photos will be sent sooner, if time permits!

What are your travel fees?

Travel fees are applicable for locations further than 30 miles from Zionsville, Indiana. Fees for travel will include airfare or mileage (at $1 per mile). Mode of transportation is at the discretion of the photographer. Rental car or Uber/Lyft fees will be included when flying to a location. Hotel costs will be included the night after the wedding for coverage ending after 10:00pm when the venue is further than 30 miles from Zionsville, Indiana. Hotel nights are included in travel costs for the nights before and after the wedding for locations further than 180 miles from Zionsville, Indiana. Travel fees will be quoted ahead in the contract and kept reasonable.

What does it mean to specialize in natural light photography?

Natural light is light from the sun, rather than from an artificial light source. As a natural light photographer, I prefer to shoot either outdoors or indoors with large windows. I love having the sun illuminate and expose my clients. While flash can be necessary in certain situations, my style thrives in brighter settings, illuminated with sunlight.
